Day 01 — Your favourite song

Like I mentioned in my video, my favourite song at this current point in time is California Gurls – Katy Perry. When I saw the video in its sugar overload sweetness I fell in love with its cute flirty appeal. The song was catchy and cute. I am a fan of Katy and think that she is an overall amazing woman. I definitely listen to all her hits.

Moving on my favourite love song of all time is Hymne à L’Amour by Josh Groban. It’s a French song (and although still very beautiful in French) and for those who don’t understand, you should definitely check out the translation. It’s a beautiful song about unconditional dedicated love, a love for all eternity. I used to have a friend pianist who could not only play anything but he sung so much like Josh Groban. He sang this song for me and I totally melted and I believe I even cried (how sappy am I? lol) I hope my future husband sings me this song and I’ll get to play it on my wedding day because it gets to me every time.

I also mentioned in my video the song Together We Will Live Forever by Clint Mansell. It’s an instrumental piece that is very moving. Many nights it lulls me to sleep or calms my nerves during exam time. The composition of the piece is interesting gives you a sense of uplift as you listen to it. Such a beautifully created piece of music.

And finally I also talked about the Backstreet Boys in my video. I love them and all of their music. I have been a diehard fan of theirs since I was a little girl. Even today I support their music. Take it for what it is. I don’t hate on the NSYNC alterative. I just knew the Backstreet Boys first. Their music always cheers me up. I know all the words, seen all the videos and overall adore them.

However there is other music out there that I didn’t get a chance to mention. I am a full supporter of all kinds of music in every genre on the spectrum. It’s not like I could be doing any better so gotta support what’s out there even if its not to your distinct liking. I really like old school jams like Angel of Mine  by Monica, music by Boys to Men, Classic Madonna songs, the powerful music of Celine Dion, rap by Eminem… I’m all over the charts.

Other honourable mentions goes to

Hinder – Lips of an Angel
Blaque – Question
Adele – Chasing Pavements
Josh Groban – Broken Vow
Metallica – One
Seether – Fake it
Seal – Kiss from a Rose
Michael Bublé – Home

and the list goes on and on…

Care to share your own favourites? The might turn into mine :)
